Carpets

All carpets on our site are of the finest quality and all are trusted ranges many we have been selling for a number of years and can wholly recommend.

Plain Twist carpets: Our plain and heathered twist carpets are all of the finest quality. Most are of a 80/20 ( wool/nylon) construction which is the industry standard for optimum wear and comfort .Many come in various weights 30 oz, 45 oz, 50 oz and 70oz’s per square inch,meaning the heavier the weight the more dense and thicker the pile leading in general to better wear and less flattening. We supply all the major brands and also some specials only we can obtain.

Wilton/Axminster carpets: Our woven backed wilton ranges from Ulster carpets, Axminster carpets and various other brands are the best available using the finest British and New Zealand wools all with extremely luxurious and hard wearing properties that add real elegance to any home. All come in traditional and modern patterns with various widths from 3feet to 5meters. All to be fitted with underlay and gripper as per manufacturers guidelines.

Berber carpets: Most of our natural Berber ranges are made from 100%wool for wonderfully soft feel. We supply many top ranges such as Kersaint Kobb and Adams carpets. These loop pile carpets are very hardwearing and are less prone to flattening that most other styles. Many come with a fleck which makes them great for hiding small spots and marks, ideal for family living! Widths 4m & 5m .All to be fitted with underlay and gripper as per manufacturers guidelines.

Sisal: Our various ranges of sisal flooring add a wonderful texture to your floor giving any room a bespoke rustic look; these products are also extremely hard wearing .With widths of 4m and 5m, this natural product has to be left to acclimatise in your room for a few days before its glued directly to an underlay, which is also glued directly to the floor .

Stair Runners: Our runners all come in stylish modern and traditional designs to suit all staircases and hallways we’ve many great brands to choose from. All our stair runners all come in a 27 inch width or 91cm width with some coming 'made to measure'. Please phone for details.

Carpet Care

The amount of cleaning that a carpet requires depends upon the type and extent of traffic to which it is subjected. Regular Maintenance is the best way to ensure constant good appearance and durability from your carpet

Daily or regular use of a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush/agitator will raise the pile and remove dust, grit and other items. This should commence from the day the carpet has been laid. N.B. A vacuum cleaner is designed to give maximum efficiency with a slow movement.

Many carpets are subjected to heavy traffic and may, in time require specialist carpet cleaning. On-site specialist cleaning companies can advise you on the most suitable options for your carpet, based on the specifications, traffic conditions and degree of soiling.
